Man and Animal Block

Here's what we've been doing the last couple of weeks....Man and Animal Block by Live Education.  It's been a HUGE success!  We have been so inspired by the beautiful drawings and the kids loved the modeling wax so much that they made other animals to  play with.  I threw in some Main Lesson pages so you can see that not everyone is at the same level but they put their best effort into it.  

my younger son has some fine motor skill problems so I held his hand while he drew this cuttlefish.  He was overjoyed with how beautiful it came out!

and some grammar thrown in since octopus is such a weird word!  The kids really enjoyed how interesting the stories about the antics of octopus were.  The next day when we recalled the prior days stories they remembered ALL of them!  They are such interesting 'head' animals....
