The Kingdom of Fractions
This is a bittersweet post because...it's been a LONG time. Just two posts down my oldest was turning 7, he's 12 now. Twelve times 'round the sun...that's hard to believe. He'll be 13 soon.
Here's where we are now....
We use the Waldorf aka Steiner Philosophy for our homeschool still. We've settled on Live Education for our curriculum and I couldn't be happier! I just wish I hadn't listened to the naysayers and started this wonderful curriculum from the start. Right now, we are doing a block on fractions using a story about a kingdom from the fraction book and the boys are really enjoying it. At first, my younger son was hesitant since he doesn't feel like he can draw well, but now he's really into the story and putting his own "twist" to his pictures.
